Everyone is talking about getting them back to school.

Do I push them to go — or am I making things worse?

Your child can't face school.

But perhaps you've noticed other changes too.

They're spending more time in their room.
They're talking to you less.
They've stopped seeing friends or doing things they used to enjoy.
Even everyday things like getting dressed, showering or leaving the house can feel too much.

And you're starting to wonder whether this is about more than school.

In this free webinar, we'll look at what may be happening beneath the school non-attendance, how to recognise when your child may be experiencing burnout, and what they need from you to begin recovering.

Most importantly, you'll discover gentle, practical ways to help your child reconnect and gradually rebuild their capacity for life, without pushing them before they're ready.

Amy Dalwood-Fairbanks

Amy Dalwood-Fairbanks is a paediatric clinical hypnotherapist, former primary school teacher and specialist in supporting neurodivergent children and their families.

Drawing on her background in education, safeguarding and therapeutic practice, alongside 18 years of lived experience within a neurodivergent family, Amy supports families experiencing anxiety, school avoidance, autistic burnout, emotional dysregulation and overwhelm.

Her approach is neuro-affirming, low-demand and grounded in a simple principle:

We need to understand what's happening for the child before we decide what we're asking them to do next.

Amy is the creator of SPARK: Reignite Your Child From Burnout, a 12-week programme in which children and teenagers journey alongside their parent through a gentle process designed to support recovery, reconnection and gradually rebuilding capacity.

Your Child Isn't Giving Up on Their Future

They may simply not have the capacity to do what is being asked of them right now.

When your child isn't attending school, it can feel as though the clock is ticking.

Another missed day.

Another missed lesson.

Another attendance conversation.

Another worry about GCSEs, qualifications, work and independence.

It's understandable to look at all of that and feel frightened about where this is heading.

But recovery doesn't have to begin with getting your child back through the school gates.

It can begin much closer to home.

With safety.

With understanding.

With connection.

With tiny moments of capacity returning.

With glimpses of the child you know beginning to emerge again.

Because the goal isn't simply to get your child back to school.

It's to help them find their way back to life.

Join me for this free live webinar and discover what your child may need when they can't, rather than won't, face school.
